Pet Friendly Holiday Gifts

Phew it’s been 3 months since I last posted. Terrible! I’ll dive right into my pet friendly holiday gifts which are linked to individual websites as well as my AMAZON shop (which contains MANY more items and supports my business so THANK YOU for your support!).

Camera - Wyze Cam: We have all versions of this camera - the most inexpensive, non-rotating cam AND the 360 swivel cam. We loved it so much, we even use it as our baby cam. The software updates so you don’t feel like you have outdated technology a year into ownership.

Camera - PetCube2: I was gifted this earlier in the year and instantly fell in love with how easy it was to not only check in on my pups but also treat them. Koa quickly caught on to its functionality whereas Lily is still confused as to where the treats are.

Dog Bed: If you have ~$1700 in your budget for a dog bed then this is my dream (shown left). Until then, I’m going to make the frame for my Costco bed (an easy ~$50 spend!).

Stylish Dog

Southern Pup: Ever wonder about the bowties Koa wears? They’re from Southern Pup and it’s easy to attach their bow ties and bows to any collar. They’re American made and I love how this supports a small business.

Dog Wear: One of my favorite outfits Aspen wore was the red and black buffalo check Orvis dog jacket (and I matched with an L.L.Bean pullover -no shame!) shown right.

Outdoors

Activity tracking watch: My go to is the Garmin Fenix 5s* (or Plus) which I also wear daily to work (there’s a fancy watch band you care wear to dress it up!). I love seeing how “fast” I’m hiking or kayaking and by fast I mean slow. Note: I’m thankful to be a Garmin ambassador.

Travel

Bowl: I received a bowl like this from PupBox* and it’s a game changer. I use it on hikes and work travel (when the dogs come with me). No more fighting over one bowl and it’s really easy to stuff in luggage (win-win!).

Clean Dog

I was overwhelmed by all the suggestions for keeping dog smell at bay in a house including:

  • Odor absorbing bags filled with charcoal and carbon

  • Baby/dog wipes

  • Brushing and grooming frequently

  • All Systems Super Cleaning Shampoo

Grieving a Pet

For those grieving the loss of a pet (or anyone), I’ve listed a few options that helped me over the past few months.

Gifting Subscriptions

My favorite monthly subscriptions to gift to friends and family:

  • PupBox* - Code is GOLDENLILY for 50% off multi-month subscriptions (discount applies to the first PupBox only).

  • Dogtopia (or similar) bath

Anything to add to the list as a “must have?” Share in the comments!
